Beside providing required financial assistance to film artistes and technicians, we organise various kinds of programmes throughout the year. These activities are not confined to film industry related matters alone.
.We have organised fund collection, on the streets of Kolkata, for the benefit of cyclone affected people of Orissa, earthquake stricken people of Bhuj, Gujarat, and the flood affected people of West Bengal.
.A Bengali Cultural programme is organised to raise funds every New Year's Day, where eminent artistes including singers and dancers participate. This programme has been held for the last four years. Fund-raising was also done through performances at Haldia Utsav and Tamralipta Utsav.
.A meeting was held at Technicians Studio, Kolkata, to facilitate Sri Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on his being elected the Chief Minister of West Bengal.
.A reception was organised at the Technicians Studio for foreign delegates of the 7th Kolkata International Film Festival.

.Condolence meetings are held to commemorate the death of eminent film personalities where their creative contributions in the development of the Bengali film industry are discussed.
.Starting from this year, we shall be organising a voluntary blood donation camp on the first of May, every year. Artistes and technicians will be able to donate blood at the camp.
